Just to let ya know.....

Coral reefs are one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. And they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Scientists estimate that most coral reefs will be gone by 2030. People and nature together are helping in the destruction of the reefs. Since we cannot control nature, we should do all we can to try and preserve the reefs.

Background

The Coral Reefs in Southeast Asia are being destroyed. Scientists think, in the next 20 years the coral reef will be gone because of the rising of Earth's water temperatures. El Nino is causing the reefs to break because of the strong thunderstorms that are in the ocean. People also take away the animals for food. The animals are there to eat the algae off of the coral. This helps the coral grow. People also like to use the coral for different types of medicine. This is destroying the corals faster.
