Just to let ya know.....

Coral reefs are one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. And they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Scientists estimate that most coral reefs will be gone by 2030. People and nature together are helping in the destruction of the reefs. Since we cannot control nature, we should do all we can to try and preserve the reefs.

Impact

Serous concerns with coral reefs are the disappearing or the reefs. If the weather patterns and people patterns keep going the way they are the reefs are estimated to be gone within 20 years. The people and animals who use the reefs will have to find a new source of food and shelter.
Top concerns of scientists...
1. The reefs will be gone anywhere from 20-25 years.
2. Animals that live in reefs will become endangered, then extinct.
3. Without reefs, beaches are eroding at about 5 miles per year.
