Just to let ya know.....

Coral reefs are one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. And they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Scientists estimate that most coral reefs will be gone by 2030. People and nature together are helping in the destruction of the reefs. Since we cannot control nature, we should do all we can to try and preserve the reefs.

The Coral Reefs of the world are quickly becoming endangered. Reefs in the Indian Ocean, Caribbean island area, and off the coast of Africa and Australia are dying. Reefs are the second most diverse ecosystem, behind rainforests. Oceans take up about 70% of the world. Reefs take up an area the size of Texas-0.17% -of the ocean floor. Even though they take up such a small area, they are home to 1/4 of all marine species. Reefs are one of the most delicate ecosystems in the world.
