Just to let ya know.....

Coral reefs are one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. And they are disappearing at an alarming rate. Scientists estimate that most coral reefs will be gone by 2030. People and nature together are helping in the destruction of the reefs. Since we cannot control nature, we should do all we can to try and preserve the reefs.

Developement

  • 1990- coral reefs considered the most endangered ecosystem
  • 1998- El Nino destroyed over 90% of the coral reefs
  • 2005- WRI worked on how to reduce the threats against coral.

People are just now starting to see how important coral reef are. Some people are figuring out different ways to protect the coral reefs and the fish that live there.
